What is the Full Form of MP ?

MP - Member of Parliament

Members of Parliament are elected to either house (Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha). The MPs of Lok Sabha are directly elected by the Indian public and those of Rajya Sabha are elected by the members of the State Legislative Assemblies.

The elected MP is responsible for :-

  • Construction of buildings for schools, colleges and universities.
  • Construction of tube-wells, Dams and providing water tanks for providing drinking water to the people in villages, towns or cities.
  • Construction of roads, bridges, highways, footpaths and footbridges in villages, towns and cities.
  • Construction of Sports Associations, gymnastic centres, Auditoriums for cultural, public health care buildings and other Activities.
  • Irrigation and Drainage facilities in villages, towns & cities And Many More.
