Applied Physics Laboratory - The Johns Hopkins College Applied Material science Lab (Applied Physical science Lab, or APL) is a not-for-benefit college partnered research community (UARC) in Howard District, Maryland. It is partnered with Johns Hopkins College and utilizes 8,000 individuals (2022). The lab fills in as a specialized asset for the Branch of Protection, NASA, and other government organizations.
