ATS - Anti-Terrorism Squad

The Anti-Terrorism Squad is the special police force that fights and protects the citizen of the state against terrorism. The force has its presence in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kerala, and Gujarat with its major presence in Maharashtra.

ATS works in coordination with other agencies in the state and also with some central agencies including RAW and IB. It aims at detecting the anti-national elements that are working in any part of the state and involved in any types of crime including terrorism, smuggling, currency notes  scam etc.
