NIC - National Informatics Centre

National Informatics Centre is a premier Electronics & Information Technology organization in India providing eGovernance support to Central Government, State Governments, UT Administrations, Districts and other Government bodies. The organization is headquartered in New Delhi, with offices wide spread over different states in India.

The National Informatics Centre (NIC) is an attached office under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in the Indian government. The NIC provides infrastructure to help support the delivery of government IT services and the delivery of some of the initiatives of Digital India.

The NIC was established in 1976 under the aegis of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The National Informatics Centre is credited with helping the Indian government embrace IT in the 1990s and has also helped disseminate e-governance to the masses.


NIC - National Integration Council

The National Integration Council (NIC) is a group of senior politicians and public figures in India that looks for ways to address the problems of communalism, casteism and regionalism.Council members include cabinet ministers, entrepreneurs, celebrities, media heads, chief ministers, and opposition leaders.
